Our Mandate
The mandate of Arise Church is found in the scripture passage of Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine for your light has come; the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Our Story
Arise Church began in 1959. Our church was birthed from an Italian language service at Richmond Temple who were reaching out to Italian migrants in Melbourne and seeing many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Today, more than 6 decades later, Arise Church is a family of many nations and many generations who love Jesus and love to see people living the extraordinary life He has for them.

Duane & Cathie Dixon
Our Senior Pastors Duane & Cathie Dixon have been leading the Arise Church family since 2014. They lead with an all consuming passion to love, connect, equip and empower people to know God, love God and to share His goodness and greatness down the road and across the globe.

God has blessed us with the gifts of salvation, friendship and relationship, all of creation and LIFE. Being able to love life and love people we are so thankful for His outrageous gift of LIFE for us.
